@CKkanzi

1. Briefly introduce yourself to us

My name is Clamentine Kanzi. People call me CK or Kanzi. It’s easier that way. I am banker by profession, a fashion blogger and a business woman.

2. Why Suits?

First of all, I have always had a liking to sharply dressed men in sharp suits for as long as I can remember.  My job description also requires me to suit up on a daily basis. So that provides a platform to put my liking of bespoke suits into practice. Being a petite size makes it quite challenging for me get a ready-made suit of my size. That’s why I opt for tailor made suits as this also allows me to come up with unique concepts that are inspired by masculinity.

3. What or who is your inspiration?

I strongly believe that the definition of success is custom made. I define success as being able to live your life with integrity and not give into pressure conform to some standards. Follow your passion, stay true to yourself, never follow someone else’s path; unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and you see a path, then by all means, you should follow that.” – This are words from Ellen DeGeneres. She is my source of inspiration

My inspiration comes from being able to go that extra mile and do what others are not willing to do or are afraid of doing.

4. What is your favorite suit accessory?

My tie!!As long as I got my suit and tie the world is my oyster I feel like I can conquer the world.
5. Favorite style in a suit

Of late I have gravitated towards the Double Breast suits style. I consider that style to be the easiest way to show off a bit while still looking classic.

6. General response from people when in a suit?

Wow!! You have a unique style. So edgy!

7. Advice you would give to the ladies fretful in taking on the suit style?

Do your thing boo! Don’t be discouraged by challenges, criticism or the fear of failing. There will be good days and bad days and days you feel like giving up .Learn to embrace all of them and practice the virtue of patience in due course everything will fall into place.

@thereneberry

1. Briefly introduce yourself to us

I’m René Berry, a Texas based style blogger and menswear style lover!

2. Why Suits?

For me, suits provide versatility and freedom. I wear suit pieces as separates or as an entire suited look! As far as freedom goes, it takes less time to style suits. The wearer can easily dress them up or down.

3. What or who is your inspiration?

I draw inspiration from the 1920s era to the 1970s. History definitely repeats itself and so does fashion.

4. What is your favorite suit accessory?

Lapel Pins

5. Favorite style in a suit

I tend to favor more tailored/fitted style suiting!

6. General response from people when in a suit?

Honestly, I receive more compliments when wearing suits.

Advice you would give to the ladies fretful in taking on this suit style?

Just go for it! When wearing menswear accessories with suits; I usually mix in women accessories as well! Heels, make up, earrings easily add a touch of femininity which helps balance the look.
